Making an appointment in advance is highly suggested. If you show up without pre-booking, there is a high chance of waiting or even not being able to see a doctor on the day you visit.
A patient (who would be their first time visiting a particular dept) is needed to bring a referral* issued by the primary or secondary hospital in order to be covered by “Korean National Health Insurance”
At Family Medicine, Dentistry and Rehabilitation Medicine department, you can be treated without referral.
If you have medical records such as CD/DVD, please go to a kiosk(IMAGE CD REGISTER) to input image data before visiting a doctor’s office.
Referral : when needing to see a doctor, you are supposed to receive primary health care at near your local clinics. But if your symptoms get worse, or need a second opinion, you get a referral at that clinic, and then come to a tertiary hospital (like CBNUH).
